Eagle Ridge Emergency Response Fund

Hard to know what day it really is during these unfamiliar times, but this is not a mistake!  We thought that it was much more likely to hear the cry of “thank goodness it’s Saturday” from all of you working from home, home schooling the kids along with taking the dog for solitary walks! This is not the life where you are wondering what to watch on Netflix or learning to make bread – after all you have to line up at the grocery store! “Staying home” is not the same for everyone.

While encouraging and appreciating our first line responders with cheers, pots and pans at 7pm each evening, we want to support our own Eagleridge Hospital where the need has never been greater. As a fast response to the pandemic, the hospital foundation created a ‘COVID-19  EMERGENCY RESPONSE FUND’ and with donations so far, it has purchased 10,000 surgical & 5000 N95 masks for hospital staff, a new portable, hand held Ultrasound and & Glidescope (for intubation) and the COVID-19 unit now has more than 20 baby monitors.  There is still a list of identified available items which would make the COVID-19 unit the best it could be for our community.  So…Eagleridge Hospital would be truly grateful for whatever donations can still be made.  As our hospital completes its new cardiology space and prepares for phase 2 – new, improved, enlarged Emergency Dept, the timing was not ideal for a new fund, but if we all give a little….we can do this together!

As for our Generations Real Estate Partners – we have adjusted quickly and safely to operating our essential business within the prescribed protocols as we care for our clients who have a need to buy or sell.  We remain your full time, full service real estate team – just doing things differently with the remote “personal touch”.

We are happy to field your questions any time.  In the meantime, stay virtually close to family and friends and “Stay the blazes at home”.
