TGIF – MIRACLE Homes

Have you ever driven by our ‘Buy Me’ signs and wondered what the rider ‘Miracle Home’ means? As have many other Re/max colleagues, our team has chosen to be part of the Re/max Miracle Home Program – a way to support Children’s Hospitals across Canada. It is a way for us to give back in a meaningful way which touches some of the most vulnerable young families in our community. We donate a portion of our income from every sale which goes directly to our own Vancouver Children’s Hospital. Re/max began its sponsorship of the hospitals in 1992 when Children’s Miracle Network was formed and encompasses the miracle home program and all manner of other fundraising events- telethons, golf tournaments, auctions etc.

We are proud to have been an active part of CMN since the start and proud of the awesome results – $72 million raised since 1992. At our Re/max annual conference in Banff last year, $100,000 was raised in a 24 hour period. We shall have to be creative this year as we are not anticipating a conference any time soon!

Many thanks to all those clients who hired our services and were happy to have the Miracle Home sign on their lawn & condo board, knowing that they were supporting a fine cause. Good to know that this pandemic has not brought a halt to all good things – Miracle Homes still working their magic and allowing the skilled doctors & nurses to continue their excellent work at our esteemed Children’s Hospital.

Have a great weekend. We remain your community realtors taking care of all ages with their most important investment – their home.

We don’t take it lightly and always have you covered.

Michelle Hawthorne, Scott Johnson, Sheila Francis, Ray Harris & Shane Goutsis.
