TGIF: Happy Chinese New Year! Year of the Dog

Friday, February 16, 2018

“Xin nian kuai “ “ Gung hei faat coi”

Happy Lunar New Year to all our Chinese friends – may 2018 be prosperous and happy.

If you are fiercely loyal, a friend forever, stubborn to the end, an honest team player and a persevering type, chances are strong that you were born in the year of the dog. You love helping others so no wonder you are popular at social gatherings. You are most compatible with those born in years of the rabbit, tiger and horse. And your best hours of the day are between 7-9pm.

The dog is the 11th of all zodiac animals. Myth has it that this was decreed by the Jade Emperor according to the order in which the animals came to his party! In China the most popular dog name is ‘wang cai”, which translates as ‘prosperous and wealth’. “wang wang” is” woof, woof “in Chinese!

So….celebrate, enjoy all the family gatherings and festivities. We wish you all the best of good fortune.

If this is also the year of the house for you, this is where our team has you covered, no matter which year is yours!
